A Tribute to the Multifaceted Life of Celestine Onwurah Ukwu
On the 27th of June, 1940, in the serene town of Umuavulu-Abor, Enugu State, Celestine Onwurah Ukwu was born into the family of Anigbogu Justus and Udenwo Nwokpoko Ukwu. His birth brought hope and joy to his parents, who had suffered the loss of four infants prior to his arrival, leading his father to name him Onwurah, meaning “Death, keep off.”
